Has anyone else noticed the food at the Cookie Cabin has been amazing of late? What a treasure for the mountain.?
Cute little place. The stuff is hand made, and you can really tell. It's a fav place to stop for a slice and brownie.
MoreI don't usually take pics of my food, but this cookie deserved it. Hot out of the oven and tasted even better. Should have gotten some milk to go with it and no, I couldn't finish it. Cookie abuse! Great customer service and I also bought a sampler for my good friends at Ben's Bikes in Tucson. Thanks for the great service cookie dude!!
MoreHow can you not stop at a place called the "Cookie Cabin" on a mountain in the middle of nowhere? The cookies were very big. They definitelyweren't the best I've ever had but it was a fun experience. I would probably stop again but only get one cookie to share.
MoreOkay I guess, Lines were long kind of exspected that though, cookies were huge and tasted alright pizza was probably the tastiest, drinks such as coffee , hot cider and cocoa were a little deluded. Not enough indoor seating on the chilli day's though. All in a lil chaotic but hey everyone should try I guess.
MoreMust check out when up on Mt. Lemmon! This is such a hidden gem on top of the mountain. I highly recommend getting your cookie of choice with the scoop of ice cream and whip cream - you cant go wrong when you pair it with a warm sunny day! The atmosphere is nice and quaint. I wojld definitely come back again!
MoreIf you haven't been to Mt. Lemon Cookie Cabin you really must make a trip up the mountain. They have awesome cookies that are baked fresh and rich in flavor.
MoreCannot take a trip up to Mt. Lemmon without a stop at the cookie cabin. Cookies are huge (size of paper plate), pizza is absolutely delicious, and service is wonderful. A stop here is a must.
MoreLoved this place. The cookie is the size of a pizza and we ordered one for all of us and still had left overs. The pizza here is awesome and the hot cocoa / slider is an awesome combo for the my lemmon weather. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend!!
MoreNice little cabin of freshly made cookies that are very large, pizza and a few other food items including ice cream. Try the root beer float. Yummy. Nice little patio to enjoy.
MoreA great place to visit with friendly service. There is limited parking available. Get a cookie as big as your head (for $7). Cookies were more like dense cake than they were cookies. The consensus in our group was that the brownie cookie was the best. The other cookies could be improved. There are other food options available (see picture of menu). The management clearly likes to post rules and signs (it detracted from the experience and seemed unnecessary). There's a large patio area and cozy indoor seating area.
MoreGreat family (and dog) friendly area
Beautiful venue, beautiful patio and delicious food! 5 start review based on food, the deductions comes from the fact that the prices should justify table service, or more adequate service. We waited for over an hour, to order at the window. At those prices, their wait should not exist. Otherwise, we love this place!
MoreA yearly family tradition. We love the giant cookie sundae!
There is good reason this place has great reviews. A small business where the staff are small town friendly. Great and picturesque location. Bought a cookie with ice cream and toppings. One of the best desserts I've ever had.
MoreGreat place to visit, my family and I planned a trip to Mt Lemmon and made sure to stop here. The ice cream and cookies are delicious. The only things are that it’s kind of cramped inside and charging $3 for water is a bit of a rip off. It would have been nice if the chairs outside were larger/taller so that way more people can sit outside.
MoreGreat little place at the top of Mt. Lemmon after a 2 hour drive with numerous vistas. Dinner plate size cookies!! Oh boy!
MoreLove this place! The cookies are big and delicious! The root beer float tastes great! Love coming here!
MoreWe had a hot dog and a chili dog. They were nice and hot. Nice cabin, but crowded because the upstairs area isn't open right now.
MoreCookies are delicious. Staff is always super friendly! Well worth the wait if there's a line!
MoreThe pizza was really oily. Other than that, it was pretty good. They do run out of food quickly.
MoreThis place is so adorable. It's got a cozy, chic ski chalet vibe about it and made me feel like I stepping into a Christmas movie. The staff was incredibly friendly and the cookies are incredibly delicious!
MoreNice little spot. The line can get pretty long so plan accordingly. IMHO the cookie and ice cream are the only thing to do. $7 for a hot dog? Nah. But for $12 you get a giant cookie and a ton of ice cream. Go for the chocolate syrup, Carmel, whip cream and peanut combo. There isn’t a ton of seating but we have never not been able to get a table.
MoreThe pizza is delicious, the cookies are yummy. There is usually a wait so be prepared, but it is totally worth the wait.
MoreAn absolute must see when on Mt. Lemmon. It’s like visiting a Hallmark holiday movie. We had a great big, white chocolate, macadamia nut cookie. It was excellent!
MoreAwesome atmosphere great friendly staff. Super unique place.
Such a great little place. Food isn’t great but the atmosphere makes it fun. Their pet friendly and they have music in the weekends!
MoreRoad up the mountain on a motorcycle looking for a giant cookie... The Cookie Cabin did not disappoint. The cookies were awesome, we had chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia nut, the staff was super friendly, and the cabin was really cool.
MoreThe cookies are delicious but I feel like they’re a little pricey at $7. It was incredibly busy when I went because it had just snowed so of course everyone from Tucson had to come up and experience the snow. Honestly it’s probably a great environment when it’s not so packed! The pizza wasn’t good though and at $8 a slice I wouldn’t recommend itIt’s a must stop whenever you head up the mountain
MoreSo their pazookie is gigantic. 5 of us shared 1 and it was great. The pizza is pretty good too. I had a slice.
MoreThe Cookie Cabin is the perfect indulgence after a day of hiking. Their delicious food in a cozy atmosphere hit all the right spots. We love to warm up with their hot chocolate or apple cider.
MoreThe food was great, the people were very friendly, and the atmosphere was excellent!
MoreOk. Yes. They are called the cookie cabin. Obviously their cookies are delicious. Buuuut... Their pizza... Equally as delicious. It's crispy, the marinara is perfectly seasoned, and the crust is perfectly cooked. It's got that pizza dough bite, but not undercooked and doughy, and not overcooked and hard as a rock.
MoreDelicious, huge cookies. Great way to warm up after a cold hike. The cookies are $7 each which is a lot, but they are decently sized. I didn't try the pizza, but the pricing was very high for that $8 per slice.
MoreLove this place. The pizza is really good. And the scenic drive up there is breathtaking
MoreWe tried the sampler and "Rachel"(oat, coconut, and butterscotch). Both were great! Picture is of the sampler.
MoreAmazing cookies (big as a paper plate), great ice cream, amazing pizza, haven't tried anything else yet, but I strongly recommend to. Great place and great atmosphere no matter what season you visit.
MoreLong wait (holiday weekend), but the food and service were great. Ate outside since it wad a beautiful day. Had pizza cookies and ice cream... will definitely go again.
MoreWonderful service and food. Beautiful view
The employees are extremely friendly, however their prices are kinda high. It's a good vacation visit.
MoreAwesome place to enjoy cookies and pizza on top of the mountain! Reasonable prices and decent drink options. Highly recommended for visitors in Summerhaven.
MoreI have only had their pizza. It was delicious with overlapping giant Pepperoni's and lots of cheese. You can tell the pizza is cooked in the same oven as their sweets but it creates a unique complimentary flavor. Very delicious! I saw others eating a delicious looking large cookie loaded with sweet toppings. Definitely a desert for 2 or 1 very hungry hiker. I will bring my son and order that next time.
MoreGreat pizza and great ambiance. Not to mention a beautiful drive up to the top of Mount Lemon; the best sky island drive in southern Arizona.
MoreThis place is amazing! Cashiers are always so friendly and welcoming! Food is delicious, even when the line is out the door, it doesn't disappoint!
MoreWow if you dont go here you are missing out. I cant believe the size of cookies for the price. I did not have food here but the have options. other customers in this place had some and it looked delicious. This is kinda small place with big cookies and menu. the coffee and ice tea were also amazing. True gem dont miss out. if there was another star to give I would they deserve 6 stars.
MoreGreat place to get a snack 😁
Overall a great atmosphere, slow staff, and bland food. I can’t hate on the place but I also can’t pretend to love it. After driving an hour up the mountain it’s refreshing and nice to sit outside and enjoy. The staff seem to be very slow and are easily overwhelmed but more importantly they are all very respectful and friendly. The food menu is relatively wide, and their is a decent selection of German type foods and beers. However the food does come in bland and not exactly tasty. If I go back to ski I will eat here again.
MoreThis is a MUST stop after a nice hike. If they have cobbler available- GET THE COBBLER. Trust me. It is amazing. They didnt have a flavor I normally like, so I tried a different one, and it was SO GOOD. The cookies are great. The pizza is decent. But, the cobbler, warmed up, with a scoop of ice cream and whip cream is the best dessert any time of the year.
MoreThis place is nothing less than a classic. The pizza is actually surprisingly tasty. But you come for the cookies! Add a scoop of ice cream if you’re feeling frisky. A necessary respite from the Tucson heat. Dog friendly patio for hikers with four-legged friends.
MoreThe pizza and cookies are fantastic at this place! The wait staff is friendly and we could not have enjoyed a restaurant more than we did this one! It is a cozy and quaint place; very clean and the food is all made from scratch I believe! It's phenomenal! If we lived in Arizona we would plan to go back again and again and again!
MoreOur family loves this place. Excellent tasting pizza, and the white chocolate macadamia cookies are the best! Took our 8 month old son here for the first time today, and he loved sharing some of our meal. Thank you for the welcoming service.A stop that's always a must when we travel up the mountain!
